WWE: Top 5 first opponents Buddy Murphy should face

1. Aleister Black

Aleister Black had his own struggles making his way onto TV for his first match. At first he and Ricochet were dominating the tag scene on RAW, but once the Superstar Shake-Up occurred, and Black was moved to SmackDown Live, he spent a majority of his time cutting promos in a dark room asking for someone to come challenge him. Eventually Cesaro would be Black’s first opponent on SmackDown Live but before that match took place Murphy issued his own challenge — albeit on Twitter.

When Murphy called out Black online, the wrestling community, in standard vocal fashion, begged for this match to happen and it’s easy to see why. Both men are extremely talented and both have something to prove on the blue brand. A long series of matches between them would be a treat for the eyes and be just what both need to make a name for themselves on SmackDown Live and could easily put them in line for any number of titles shots.

Bonus: Finn Balor

Finn Balor may be taking some time off but when he returns, a match, or even an angle, with Murphy would be an exciting prospect. Balor is a workhorse and Murphy has also proven himself as such. The two of them would light up the arena with things rarely seen inside the ring. This one would be a show-stealer on any card.
