VICI Gaming (+270) vs. Team WE (-400)
These two teams are familiar with one another as they recently faced off in a Best of 5 series in the King Pro League tournament. Team WE took the series 3 to 1 as VICI barely avoided the clean sweep on Map 3. They also faced off in 2018 the LPL Spring Split where Team WE swept them in the Best of 3 series.
Now neither team has had much luck recently as they both will be walking in with win records under .500. In their last 10 matches Team We have won four of those while VICI Gaming has only won 1. With very little success versus Team WE, you can see why VICI Gaming is the heavy underdogs for this match-up.
My top choices in this match-up lean more towards the “salary saver” side as Southwind is my top captain choice but also my favorite support. Southwind is averaging 7.5 assists with an impressive kill-death ratio of 2.71. He also holds a nice 2.05 creeps per minute average which will benefit him and his ADC partner. My second top choice is Cube who runs the top lane and is averaging a kill-death ratio of 3.44. He’s averaging near 4 assists per game while averaging 3.3 kills also.
Both players are from Team VICI but should also go lower owned for this slate. I would prefer to stack the ADC and Jungler from Team WE when building a lineup as their kills average should carry throughout the match-up.
