Welcome to my FanDuel MLB DFS breakdown for the 7/29 main slate! This article will help you condense your player pool and build your optimal cash and GPP lineups on FanDuel.

Can you believe that we are already in the midst of the last few days of July?! It feels like the season just started yesterday and all of a sudden, the All-Star Break is behind us, the trade deadline frenzy is in full effect and the playoff races are heating up.

This last week was a crazy one in MLB DFS, as we had back-to-back-to-back slates in which a player hit 3 HRs, followed by back to back slates in which multiple players hit grand slams. To say the ball has been flying would be a drastic understatement and maximizing our bats will be the top priority on tonight’s slate as well, as the top-tier pitching leaves a lot to be desired.

We’re presented with 7 games on the main slate that includes the Dodgers venturing back into Coors Field and no ace that looks like a sure-fire bet in cash games, as Patrick Corbin, the slate’s highest-priced pitcher, is tasked with tackling the potent Braves offense. On top of that, LAD isn’t the only LA team with an elite matchup, as the Angels get the treat of stepping into the box against Jordan Zimmerman and already have an IRT above 6 runs.

With that said, there are going to be a few ways to go in cash games and I will likely approach both cash and GPP formats looking to find some savings at the pitching position while loading up on bats, especially Coors. Let’s get to the breakdown below!
