OK cool, Hook ‘Em.

The famous line muttered by Tom Herman still rings through the mind of former Ohio State coach Zach Smith who threatened to expose the Longhorns’ head man after it was rumored he turned his former colleague in for some off-field incidents while in Columbus. That threat didn’t seem to faze Herman as he responded with the calmest of texts almost like an “I dare you” rebuttal.

That seemed to have created a meme around college football and his “OK cool, Hook ‘Em” response was the hottest quote of 2018.

No, that’s not the main reason he’d be a good time to share a tailgate with, but he’s been known to be a little cocky on the sidelines for the Longhorns, including mocking Baker Mayfield’s celebration. Is that a little childish? Sure, but he doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

Herman also isn’t afraid of having all eyes on him and that’s why he performs so well on the big stage, like against Georgia in the New Year’s Six last season. Need a celebrity shot in beer pong? He’s your guy.
