ATLANTA, GA JULY 19: Atlanta Braves third baseman Josh Donaldson (20) hits a game-winning walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th inning during the game between the Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves on July 19th, 2019 at SunTrust Park in Atlanta, GA. DraftKings MLB daily notes:

Julio Teheran has been serviceable against the Nationals, but serviceable wont cut it on a full slate. Matt Adams has the only homer off of him so far, but Juan Soto could join those ranks soon enough. Both Kendrick and Rendon have driven in three off of him, but that money may be better spent elsewhere.

The Braves dodge Mad Max, so they got a win even before the first pitch was thrown. Erick Fedde has been solid for Washington, but the Braves have a lot of good bats in that lineup. Freeman destroys the Nats. Ozzie Albies looks too cheap. Josh Donaldson is hitting anything white and round right now. I’m pretty sure he’s taking his bat to his milk bubbles in the morning. That’s a strong three man stack.

Tyler Beede hasn’t had a truly bad outing in almost two months, but I’m not sure I want to run him in Philly just yet. Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins, and Scott Kingery all look like solid plays here. Even though Beede is pitching much better, it’s mostly because he is limiting baserunners between home runs. The long balls are still there. He doesn’t have right/left splits, only home/road, and road is much worse. I’ll err on the side of Phillies tonight.

Drew Smyly has this nasty little reverse split thing going on. Not that righties haven’t hit him well, but lefties are hitting .327 with seven homers in just 49 at bats in 2019! Smyly has allowed 19 homers in 57 innings this year, and the Giants have clubbed 70 of their league worst 109 homers on the road. I’m really liking Brandon Belt, Alex Dickerson, Yastrzemski, and Brandon Crawford here.

I’m staying completely off of Verlander here. The veteran has a career 5.56 ERA in 28 career start at The Jake/Progressive Field. Carlos Santana has slammed Verlander, going 18-75(.240) with eight homers and 14 RBI in his career. Jose Ramirez is 11-27(.407) with two homers and seven RBI. Lindor is the only other one I would touch, but that is a beastly three man leverage stack.

I’m torn here. Tanner Roark has been hit hard by the Pirates, but this offense is stuck in neutral lately. Chalk it up to facing a lot of lefties. Josh Bell has two homers and four RBI in just nine at bats against Roark. Corey Dickerson and Starling Marte have the other homers, but that is Marte’s only hit in 12 tries. It may be better to go with Adam Frazier instead.

The Mariner lefties are in play here with Dan Vogelbach and Omar Narvaez leading the charge. However, there isn’t much power in JP Crawford or Mallex Smith. If Kyle Seager is ever going to end this horrible slump, you would think this would be the place though.

Yes, Darvish hasn’t allowed much in the way of hits to the Cardinals in his two starts against them, but he has walked eight batters. I don’t want that. Darvish has slashed the walks lately, but the Cardinals offense is hitting now, and they put up six runs in two starts against Darvish when they weren’t. I want Goldy for sure. Jose Martinez has the only homer against Darvish so far. DeJong is my other favorite play.

Mike Montgomerylooked good against Cleveland at the K, but I still don’t know how much I trust him. I kind of want to take a shot at him with the lauded rookies in at least one lineup. Actually, a Bo Bichette, Vlad Jr, and Lourdes Gurriel stack is pretty affordable.

Wow, Julio Urias is tempting, and I would use him if he weren’t at Coors Field. I don’t know that I really want to go at him either. Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story are worth playing, but my interest in the rest of the Rockies just went way down from where it was when I thought Stripling or Tony Gonsolin were starting.
