Fantasy Football 2019 FanSided Mock Draft Pick 5 Breakdown

Fantasy Football 2019 FanSided Mock Draft
The final five picks featured a couple of dart throws and my defense. I look at these picks as disposable players if there’s a player I want to add off the waiver wire.
11.125 Dion Lewis
In a PPR league, Lewis is a great pick, at least I think so. Derrick Henry had a breakout season but it comes after two years of being a backup. He enters training camp with a leg injury and may miss some game time.

Enter Lewis. The Titans don’t have any other option to be worried about, so he’ll get the majority of carries. The passing game got a little better with Adam Humphries and a healthy Delanie Walker. Even so, I think Lewis will be a big factor in the Titans offensive plans.
12.140 Ito Smith
The loss of Tevin Coleman to the 49ers moves Smith up on the depth chart. While he didn’t look good last year, it’s a new season and a clean slate.
Smith rushed 90 times for 315 yards and four touchdowns. Devonta Freeman isn’t the healthiest running back so there is a chance that Smith starts a game or two this season.
At this point in the draft, the board was filled with quarterbacks and defenses. There wasn’t a clear standout player that fell multiple rounds. So, why not draft a player on a top offense?
13.149 Marquise Goodwin
Since joining the 49ers, Goodwin averages 16.6 yards per reception with 108 total catches, 1,788 yards and nine touchdowns.
Deebo Samuel and Dante Pettis are listed as the starters. Samuel sat out minicamp with a hip injury but is back on the field. Goodwin is the No. 3 on the depth chart.
The three-headed monster in the backfield with Jerick McKinnon, Matt Breida and Coleman doesn’t help fantasy owners. None of the three have proven to be a three-down back.
I like the passing game more than the running game. Jimmy Garoppolo needs to stay healthy and this offense is will surprise a lot of people.
14.164 Cleveland D/ST
I may be jumping on the bandwagon but I like Browns this season. The offense has a star in every skill position. The defense is young and hungry. The division is wide open.
As for fantasy, the three teams Cleveland plays six times have question marks on offense. The Steelers will be without Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. The Bengals may be without A.J. Green to start the season. The Ravens are going with Lamar Jackson under center and a trio of running backs.
An interesting note was seeing Jimmy Graham drafted in this round. How the mighty have fallen?
15.173 Robert Foster
This pick was a “shrug of the shoulders” type of pick. In his first season, Foster caught 27 passes for 541 yards and three touchdowns.
He is listed as the Bills No. 3 receiver behind John Brown and Zay Jones. Brown hasn’t been consistent throughout his career, so there is an opportunity for playing time. Though the addition of Cole Beasley doesn’t help.
The running game is a question mark with veterans LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore. Josh Allen enters his second year with young receivers ready to prove themselves so we could see a lot of passes.
And if he isn’t playing much, I will have no regrets cutting him.
Keep an eye out for the breakdowns of the other 11 draft positions, their thoughts, what went right and wrong in each round and everything in between. The fantasy football season is so close. Let’s get mocking.
