Fantasy Football Sleepers and Values

Hopefully, everyone gets the Spider Y 2 Banana reference which is a play call Gruden is known for referencing in his quarterback study videos and in his previous job on Monday Night Football. Depending on how you’ve taken your first 3 picks or so, one of my favorite value guys is the new rookie running back for Oakland, Josh Jacobs.

It’s a bit scary because he’s a rookie so we don’t have true NFL data/history to go off of. However, tell me you can’t hear old school coach Jon Gruden talking about running the ball down the opponent’s throat. I’m expecting this guy to get a lot of touches and he’s a hard worker from Alabama. If you can get this guy mid to late 4th round or later (which I expect you can in your local home draft leagues), you’re going to be in business.

Personally, I think it’s really important to hit on running backs later in your draft. Jones and Jacobs are two guys going in the later parts of the 3rd and 4th that can turn around and produce like a 1st or 2nd round talent.
