FanSided Fantasy Fantasy Football Mock Draft: Rounds 10-11

10.06 Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers (WR5)

Look at that, another receiver from the late-round wide receiver article found his way on my team. I had a few shares of Marquez Valdes-Scantling last season, and he was a very consistent option for a good five to six weeks. It’s hard to expect a whole lot from a late-round rookie wide receiver, but Valdes-Scantling looked the part. His combination of size and speed should help him get to the next level and he is in a great place to do so.

The number two option for Aaron Rodgers in the Packers’ offense is still up for grabs. From what we are hearing in camp, it sounds like every single Packers’ receiver is going to have a breakout year. My money is on MVS. If this does happen, he will vastly out-perform his current ADP.

11.07 Jerrick McKinnon, San Francisco 49ers (RB5)

This pick is not to serve as a handcuff to Coleman. In fact, I’m not even sure that McKinnon would completely take over the 49ers’ backfield. I expect McKinnon to have a role on passing downs. He proved this during his time in Minnesota, with a 78% catch rate in his last two seasons. No matter how this backfield shapes out, McKinnon’s role should not change.

One concern, however, is his health. McKinnon is currently on the PUP list following an ACL tear that put an end to his 2018 season. However, he should return by Week 1. The 49ers paid him good money last offseason so if he is available, he will be utilized.
