NFL DFS preseason week 1 Thursday lineup advice

NFL DFS – Wide Receivers
Deon Cain IND WR
Before tearing his ACL just a year ago, Cain was one of the hottest names in Colts’ training camp. However, there have been mixed reports concerning his performance this summer.
Just reading the reports coming out of the Indianapolis practices, it seems that for every contested catch he’s made, he’s also dropped an easy pass. T.Y. Hilton, Devin Funchess, and Parris Campbell are pretty much locked in as the top three receivers on the depth chart, but Cain is battling to show he belongs on the field as well.
If you want to maximize your risk/reward – you could certainly do worse than a stack of Chad Kelly and Deon Cain.
KeeSean Johnson ARI WR
The Arizona Cardinals present a perfect leverage situation at the wide receiver position. It won’t be a surprise to see the relatively unknown 6th round pick, KeeSean Johnson register lower ownership than Christian Kirk or the rookie with a bigger name, Hakeem Butler.
However, Johnson is the guy you’re going to want to target. If you were to judge from his Twitter mentions, you’d think he’s the second coming of Jerry Rice.
We know that Kliff Kingsbury loves to throw the ball, and the Cardinals are going to play at a fast pace. It’s a good idea to target someone from that offense, and KeeSean Johnson has been the breakout star thus far at Cardinals training camp.
Preston Williams MIA WR
It’s been impossible to ignore the reports coming out of Dolphins camp concerning Preston Williams. Read this quote taken from an article written by Miami Herald writer, Armando Salguero:
"“The rookie wide receiver out of Colorado State has been a revelation since he joined the team as an undrafted free agent in the offseason. He has played unlike any undrafted free agent in recent memory and that draft status – or lack of it – seems incongruent with what Williams has shown on the field.”"
Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen will likely both air it out to try and make a statement that they deserve to start under center in Miami, and Williams could be the main beneficiary.
