PGA FanDuel Picks – Value Picks: (Below $9,000)

Andrew Putnam – $8,900 – (GPP)

One last time before we wrap this up for the week, that previous range is loaded enough to the point that you should focus a good portion of your value there, but for those looking for that low ownership angle and the ability to stack up two or three golfers over $11K in tournament play, then consider Andrew Putnam to start.

He is another consistent cut-maker making the weekend in seven straight starts now, and he actually sniffed a victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge for the first time since the Sony Open with a T-3 finish to highlight that run.

Putnam T-32 at the Open Championship, as a 78 on Sunday in the rough conditions ruined a pretty solid start, and he followed that with a T-24 in his last action at the FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

What is intriguing about Putnam, is that he sits just in the range of guys who are really close to making the final 30 for a bid to East Lake for the Tour Championship. He notched three top-tens in 21 total events this season and finished 38th in the final FedEx Cup standings.

However, my only gripe with playing Putnam here is that I like Sepp Straka and Roger Sloan a little too much again this week, and boy are they way too cheap for the way they have been playing coming in. I will have plenty of Straka and Sloan once again.
