DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

Houston Astros vs. Dylan Bundy:

The Astros have torched Bundy in his career. They are hitting .329 with six homers and 13 runs in just 70 at bats. Aledmys Diaz is 4-9 with two of those homers. Yordan Alvarez, Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, and George Springer have all homered off of Bundy as well. It’s pretty much the usual suspects here. This stack is expensive, but with no Coors, Baltimore is maybe the most friendly hitting park out there. This could pay off nicely.

New York Yankees vs. Sean Reid-Foley:

It’s rather amusing the SRF is cheaper than Happ here. He shouldn’t be. He has held his own so far in the bigs this year, but four of his six appearances were against the Royals and Orioles. SRF did shut down Boston in 3.1 innings of relief and these same (kind of) Yankees in two innings or relief in late June. I’ll take whoever is catching and Aaron Judge for sure. LeMahieu, Gio Urshela, and Gleyber Torres (if he can finally play) are in play as well. I’m really high in Didi and Mike Tauchman . The fifth slot will be DJ if I can afford him and Urshela if not.

Kansas City Royals vs. Edwin Jackson:

Only the Tigers would be desperate enough to break out the Ouija board and dig up the corpse of Edwin Jackson. You know, the guy with a 11.12 ERA in eight starts this year. It’s not getting any better in Detroit. Alex Gordon broke out of his slump last night, so use him. Jackson has a nasty reverse split this year with a .429 average against for righties. That plays right into the Royals. Jorge Soler, Hunter Dozier, and Cheslor Cuthbert look really good. While we have the Ouija board out, why don’t we summon Bo Jackson and Bye Bye Balboni for one more go round in Royal Blue.

Boston Red Sox vs. Jaime Barria:

Barria is just three starts removed from allowing ten runs in Seattle, so excuse me if I don’t believe. The 10.13 road ERA speaks for itself. I’m not all in on Boston, but I will stack them at least once. We are back to lefties with Benintendi, Mitch Moreland, and Rafael Devers as my favorites. You can fill that in with two of Xander/Mookie/J.D. Martinez and have a very potent stack…..and a very empty wallet.

San Diego Padres vs. Kyle Freeland:

Kyle Freeland has been much better on the road, but his road ERA is still almost 5 and the Padres destroy lefties. Hunter Renfroe and Wil Myers will be in a lot of my lineups. I will pay up for Tatis at least once. I will also have plenty of exposure to Manny Machado and will run at least one stack with Hosmer. When it comes down to it, I still don’t trust Freeland no matter where he’s pitching.
