EPL DFS Slate Overview

Our first main slate of the 2019-20 EPL DFS season isn’t much, but I’ll take it.  There will be 5 main slate games that start at 10:00am ET with the normal late game at 12:30pm.  By far the largest favorite on the slate is Tottenham (-1.5) at home against EPL-returnees Aston Villa.  They’ll be the clear chalk on this slate, and this is the kind of chalk you might have to eat.

The second largest favorite is actually Watford (-0.5) taking on Brighton at home.  Similarly, Bournemouth (-0.5) have the Vegas edge over another EPL-newbie this season, Sheffield United.

The last two games on the slate (Southampton @ Burnley, Everton @ Crystal Palace) feature spreads of 0.0.  It is also worth noting that the goal total for all 5 games is 2.5.  Whether that’s how the odds-makers really feel or that’s because this is the first set of games this season is unknown.

I usually like to include some player/team news here, but I’m not going to recap the whole summer transfer window.  If you want that just throw it into a Google search bar.  I will mention more relevant news scattered throughout the rest of this breakdown this week.
