FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: Top GPP Stacks

Houston Astros vs. Dylan Bundy

The Astros might end up chalky with a 6.5 run total against the Orioles, but they are still my top stack on the slate. Bundy continues to give up homers left and right this year and Houston has one of the best offenses in all of baseball.

Consider that Bundy is backed by the worst bullpen in the majors, too, and the Astros have the potential to break the slate. I love the right-handers in this match-up a ton so Altuve, Bregman, Springer, Correa, and Gurriel are my favorites. But left-handed rookie Yordan Alvarez just hits dingers (that’s one for you, Lumberjack).

New York Yankees vs. Sean Reid-Foley

The Yankees are rolling right now and Vegas has them projected for 5.8 runs tonight against the right-hander Foley and this very mediocre Toronto bullpen. This group of Yankee hitters has proven they can get it done without Stanton, Sanchez, and Judge (not hurt, but slumping).

Hitters like DJ LeMahieu, Gio Urshela, Brett Gardner, Mike Tauchman, and Austin Romaine have been carrying this team and I have no problem stacking them up again here tonight. Don’t sleep on lefty first baseman Mike Ford.

San Diego Padres vs. Kyle Freeland

Kyle Freeland is having a season to forget. After being a Cy Young contender last year, he has been absolutely horrible this year with an xFIP of 5.32. He’s allowing over .400 wOBA and over .300 ISO to righties and the Pads have power from the right side of the plate.

San Diego is a boom/bust type of stack as they strike out a lot, but Tatis, Machado, Renfroe, Myers is a solid foursome of power that I want to target in tournaments. Home runs win tourneys and I think San Diego has a great chance of multiple long balls tonight.
