Fantasy Football: Rounds 1-3 Breakdown

My Picks:

1.04: Ezekiel Elliott | RB | DAL
2.21: Tyreke Hill | WR | KC
3.28: Keenan Allen | WR | IND

Fantasy Football Analysis:

When this draft took place, Barkley, McCaffrey, Elliott, and Kamara, were the top 4 in most formats. Now that Elliott is still holding out for a new contract, his ADP is beginning to fall. I was excited to land Zeke here, especially a couple weeks ago.

Now that he is still holding out, I’m beginning to get that feeling he could leave me hanging like Bell did last season.

I still have hope a deal gets done, I have to keep reminding myself the Cowboys have never been the type of team to let something like this keep an elite player off the field. Once he signs, I’ll be giddy I got my top overall ranked player with the fourth pick.

With my second pick, I took Tyreke Hill, and I could not have hit the submit button any faster. He is in store for a monster year, and I would not be surprised to see him eclipse 1,600 yards receiving with 11 plus touchdowns. Pairing him with Zeke was easy, and I could have the league leaders in both rushing and receiving yards.

I took Keenan Allen with my third pick. I was hoping to grab another running back at this spot, but I couldn’t take any of the guys available over Allen. He is the number one target on a very good offense.

The Gordon holdout could also push the Chargers to throw a little more as well, which would put Allen in the 100 plus catch range with 1,300 receiving yards. He may not score many touchdowns but he should have consistent production and be a safe start week in and week out.
