Fantasy football 2019: FanSided mock draft pick 1.04 breakdown
By Bruce Lamb
Fantasy Football: Rounds 4-6 Breakdown
My Picks:
4.45: David Montgomery |RB | CHI
5.52: Cooper Kupp | WR | LAR
6.69: James White | RB | NE
Fantasy Football Analysis:
I took Montgomery a little early but I think it has a chance to pay off big time as my RB2. He is doing well at camp and should be given every chance possible to win the starting job and get the early down role. Cooper Kupp was up next for me.
He provides another safe option at receiver who has a chance to catch 100 passes and gain over 1,000 yards. What I like most about Kupp is his TD upside. He scored 6 last season before he tore is ACL and I think he gets back to getting Red Zone targets again this season.
I grabbed James White in the sixth as my RB3. He is the only one in the New England backfield I feel can be trusted. I know he has a role in that offense, and with Gronk retiring, I think he could see an increase in targets early on this season until the younger receivers catch on.
This isn’t a full point PPR league, but I think White will still be a safe option to have who will have some big games this season.
Through six rounds I have three receivers, and three running backs. I feel confident in having any of them in my lineup any given week. At this point in the draft, I wanted to start looking for good value, as well as players with upside, and I think I was able to find that over the next few picks.
