MLB DFS Pitching Plays

As we always do, I will rank each pitcher mentioned in my article between a 1-10, I will also mention my “gem of the day” which is a mid-low tier arm that I think has the most upside. There are several ways to approach this main slate.

With a slate this big you have to hope that ownership gets spread out. I would expect that Kershaw is the most popular pitcher, but with Coors on the slate he could fly under the radar, in which case I will have massive interest. Canning could be somewhat popular, especially when people are trying to fit in those expensive Coors bats.

Also until Chris Sale gets back over 11K on FanDuel, we have to be considering him in every single format. Even against a team like Cleveland, it does not matter, just look at the match-up with the Angels. That is a team that does not strikeout, but he still put up 13 strikeouts.

MLB DFS Pitching Rankings:

Clayton Kershaw – 10

Chris Sale – 8

Domingo German – 9

Griffin Canning – 9.5

Gem of the day – Griffin Canning

If you guys have any questions please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @LumberjackDFS, this is a great slate for pitchers which I am very excited to play.

A good bit of advice is to run these plays in different tourney lineups, with various stacks, and correlate your lineups to maximize your chances of winning a tourney.

Best of luck to all from all of us here at FanSided Fantasy.
