DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

New York Yankees vs. Adam Plutko:

Plutko has a 5.47 ERA on the road. The only thing that could knock this astray is if the Yankees are overly tired from four games of extra batting practice against the Orioles. The offensive onslaught keeps up for at least one more game. LeMahieu and Urshela are playable no matter who is on the mound. I think I’m targeting more Mike Ford and Didi Gregorius with Tauchman instead of Judge or Maybin.

Cleveland Indians vs. Chad Green/Jonathan Loaisiga?:

There has been no official announcement as to who will relieve Green, but Loaisiga seems the likely one. He threw in bursts of two or three innings on his rehab assignment, so it seems the Yankees were grooming him to fill the role after an opener. It will be either him or Nestor Cortes. If it’s Cortes I’m less interested, but I want a lot of Cleveland exposure if it’s Loaisiga in his return from the IL. Jose Ramirez, Jason Kipnis, and Lindor are in play no matter what. Franimal is better to use against Cortes. Mercado works either way. So does Carlos Santana.

Chicago Cubs vs. Drew Smyly:

Smyly has allowed 11 runs (nine earned) over his last two starts to the White Sox and Giants. The wheels are coming off already. This will be where they come off entirely. Kris Bryant and Javy Baez are two of my favorite plays of the night. Rizzo and Heyward hit lefties well enough to be included in here. If you don’t want to pay for them, David Bote and Ian Happ look very good as well.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Dereck Rodriguez:

Shark has a career 4.82 ERA in 12 appearances at Chase Field, so I can see why the Giants moved to Dereck Rodriguez. Actually, no I can’t. He has been even worse. This Arizona offense is cooking lately, and was even before they hit Coors. Jake Lamb and Eduardo Escobar are my favorite picks here tonight, but Nick Ahmed, David Peralta, and Josh Rojas all look very nice for the price.
