EPL DFS Top-Tier Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool @ Southampton, $16) – Alexander-Arnold had another productive game last Friday with an assist as he totaled 27.5 fantasy points against Norwich.

This should be another great match-up for TAA to get up the field as he does so well against a weaker Southampton opponent.  He arguably has the best floor and ceiling combination of any top-tier defender right now.  Get him in if you can.

Tyrone Mings (Bournemouth @ Aston Villa, $16) – I loved the Tyrone Mings play last weekend, and he killed it.  Aston Villa will be under pressure again Saturday (and most likely all season) making their center defenders quality targets.

It’s unlikely that Mings puts up another assist or 17 clearances, but I think he can outscore Fabian Schar ($16) and Shane Duffy ($16) for the same price.  For what it’s worth, I like Schar and Duffy for a solid 18-22 fantasy points at low ownership as well.

Lucas Digne (Watford @ Everton, $14) – I know FanDuel has some whacky pricing at times, but holy cow, this is a steal.  Digne’s price dropped $6 from last week after a disappointing 9.3 point game.

Truthfully, all of Everton were disappointing last weekend, but that was against a very tough road opponent.  This week they get to play in front of home fans against a Watford team that just got ran through by Brighton of all teams.

Digne is the 2nd best attacking defender on this slate for fantasy purposes, but he’s not priced like it.  Digne could very quickly find himself back up near the $18 price range, so the $4 savings here provides some tremendous value.
