MLB DFS Pitching Plays

Andrew Heaney  – This is possibly one of the best pitchers on the day, and might be on of the more popular ones. We all know how bad the White Sox are. They are a team we have been picking on quite often these days. Heaney has a 4.84 xFIP, 27% K rate, 35% GB rate, and 47% HC.

Chicago has a 24% K rate, 47% GB rate, and 33% HC to LHP. Heaney will see more RHH where he has a slightly lower ISO, and K rate, with 50% FB, but Chicago struggles to put the ball in the air, and hit it with any sort of power.

Pitch Mix  – He is sinker heavy using it 54% of the time, with a curve, and change at 24%. The whiffs on each are above 30%, the sinker got 100% GB recently, but overall he has not been getting many GB on any of his pitches.

The ISO has been very low on everything for most of the season. That change moves ten inches, which is really good for a lineup with a lot of righties. The sinker gets eight inches of duel movement as well. I would expect Heaney to be pretty popular at this price tag, and considering Chicago is horrible.
