MLB DFS Pitching Plays

As we always do, I will rank each pitcher mentioned in my article between a 1-10, I will also mention my “gem of the day” which is a mid-low tier arm that I think has the most upside. There are several ways to approach these slates.

The early slate is only two games, so that makes it very difficult to add any variance to your pitchers. Spener Turnbull would be the only other play to consider on that slate, but Walker is going to dominate so why settle when you are guaranteed 50 or more points out of a player.

The main slate isn’t great in terms of obvious pitchers. As mentioned Heaney will be popular simply due to price, and upside. Sonny will be the real star of the show though, and should not be overlooked just because they finally raised his price.

MLB DFS Pitching Rankings:

Walker Buehler – 10

Sonny Gray – 9

Devin Smeltzer – 7

Andrew Heaney – 9.5
