Main DraftKings MLB picks August 17: deGrom’s the bomb!

I’m a pretty big fan of Bryce Harper right now. Other than that, I’m not really looking to go after Lamet. Realmuto is worth a look if he continues to bat behind Harper. He’s seeing a lot better pitches now.

Trey Mancini has both Baltimore homers against E-Rod this season. He’s the only Oriole I’m really interested in tonight. Mancini is the only one besides Pedro Severino that’s hitting over .200 in five at bats or more against E-Rod.

I suppose you could take a shot with Jorge Soler against deGrom, but you are likely paying $4,400 for zero points.

You could say that Ryu has been the best pitcher in baseball this year, and I would have a hard time arguing with you. It’s pretty bad when his 2.22 road ERA is ruining his ERA! Ryu pitched a four hit shutout of the Braves in L.A., but this offense is waking up right now, and they are better at home. Ryu isn’t going to get hit hard, but I don’t know that he’ll be worth the price either. Ronald Acuna is the guy I’m putting out there against him. A super cheap Charlie Culberson is worth a look too.

For whatever reason, Curtis Granderson is about the only guy that has hit Marquez for the Marlins. Granderson is 4-7 with a homer and five walks. I like Grandy on the cheap, but I’m not too crazy about anyone else in this lineup tonight.
