SEC football 2019 season preview: Has Georgia closed the gap on Alabama?

Predicted Division Standings
SEC East
This division has three apparent tiers. Georgia rests atop the east in a territory of their own. They are clear favorites to win each of their games, to me, and if they play to their potential they will easily win the SEC East title. The second tier is Florida and Missouri, two teams filled with talent and experience that could put together a perfect storm and knock off Georgia. Then comes the third tier: everyone else. The Vols, Gamecocks, Commodores, and Wildcats will fight with each other in toss-up matches that will determine if we label them as rising programs and in need of a rebuild.

SEC West
This division will operate in a similar way to the East. Alabama is the clear favorite, but I believe LSU belongs in the same tier; giving two teams a legitimate chance at winning the division. The next group is the Aggies and Tigers; both have an outside chance at winning the division but realistically will be aiming for eight or nine wins. Mississippi State deserves to be considered in a tier of their own, between true contention, and the full rebuilds that are Ole Miss and Arkansas.
