Slate Overview: My goal with Picks and Pivots is to always give you my gut reaction first look to a slate and here tonight, the path to a high ceiling GPP build and even a cash game type team seems pretty straightforward on FantasyDraft.

Kershaw is a must-have for me tonight and with the price point of Aaron Sanchez as an SP2, alongside the one-off Tim Lopes #FreeSquare, it really gives you the flexibility to load up on bats. Even with a 6 man Dodgers stack here, I have $9K for my last one-off which would allow you to take any of the following hitters – Javier Baez, Kris Bryant, Shin-Soo Choo, Adam Eaton, Justin Upton and I think you start to get the point.

Listen, going into yesterday I took the approach of going with McKay who became uber SP2 chalk and I see the very same path here tonight with Sanchez but just because the chalk busted last night, should not deter us from playing the guy that makes the most sense. Now, let’s just hope the Dodgers don’t go full Brewers on me and turn Sein Reid Foley into Dakota Hudson!
