Lance Stephenson

2018-19 team: Los Angeles Lakers

When free agency opened in July, Lance Stephenson surprisingly went unsigned. The wing has shown in the past that he can be a valued member of a team by helping the Indiana Pacers reach the playoffs. Last year with the Lakers, he averaged 7.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. He was still as solid as ever defensively, and could still be a force in the NBA on that end of the floor.

There are plenty of teams that could use a combo guard like him on their squad. Reports say he is headed to China for the upcoming season, which could lead to another NBA contract in the future if he plays at a high level. He is only 29 years old, so it will be a surprise if his NBA career is over.

Lance Stephenson has made his case as to why he belongs in the NBA. If he is not on a roster at the start of the season, it would be a shock.
