Carmelo Anthony

2018-19 team: Houston Rockets

Carmelo Anthony has had a rough time in the league as of late. We all know what Anthony brings to the table offensively, but in his last year with the Rockets, he never really got it going. His time there quickly ran out and he was released without really getting a chance. The murmurs around the league are that the reason he is not on a roster is because he refuses to not be a top option.

If Melo can take a smaller role on a contender next season, he could see some success. His future in the NBA depends on how well he adjusts to being a role player. Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat or Brooklyn Nets could be a good fit if he doesn’t mind coming off the bench. Melo deserves his farewell season.

Maybe they should allow him to play in a hooded sweatshirt this season.
