Sam Dekker

2018-19 team: Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards

Sam Dekker has had an up-and-down NBA career. He was drafted by the Rockets after a stellar college tenure with the Wisconsin Badgers. Throughout his career he has shown he can be a steady player off the bench, but he has been a part of multiple trades the few years that have made it difficult to show his full potential. Not to mention he spent part of the year injured and only played 41 games.

He did not find a suitor for the upcoming season, so he has decided to head across the pond and sign with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia. However, he could still contribute off the bench to an NBA roster. Maybe after a few months in another league he can prove he can still play at an NBA level.

Sam Dekker has struggled throughout his career, but he has also shown why he was worthy of a top pick. He is still young and will hopefully get another shot before all is said and done.
