MLB DFS Pitching Plays

As we always do, I will rank each pitcher mentioned in my article between a 1-10, I will also mention my “gem of the day” which is a mid-low tier arm that I think has the most upside. There are several ways to approach these slates.

On the early slate, I can see people gravitating towards, Odorizzi in order to save some salary, or Morton because he faces the Mariners. However, Castillo will be the highest scoring pitcher on the slate so don’t miss out on a chance for some big points.

In cash games for the main slate, JV is the way to go, and he will be popular. That’s a fade that I would not recommend. In tourneys, you can get a little wild, and play somebody like Corbin, or Montgomery.

Luis Castillo – 10

Justin Verlander – 10

Patrick Corbin – 9

Mike Montgomery – 8

Gem of the day – Montgomery
