EPL DFS: Goalkeepers

David de Gea (Crystal Palace @ Manchester United, $16) – This one is as simple as it gets.  Crystal Palace hasn’t score yet this year and their goal scorers are out of form.  Away at Old Trafford is an unlikely place for them to get their first goal of the season.  David de Gea has the best odds at both a clean sheet bonus and a win bonus.

More from DFS

Dean Henderson (Leicester @ Sheffield United, $12) – Henderson was a bomb play for me last weekend, and I’m headed right back to him.  Sheffield United have only given up 1 goal this year, and I have reason to believe they can keep it at 1 against Leicester.

Vardy, Maddison, Tielemans, and other Leicester attackers do not appear to be clicking yet this season.  They should be able to put some shots on target to give Henderson some save points.  This makes his floor safe enough for me to use him at this price, but I’m really after both bonuses and another monster game.

Ben Foster (West Ham United @ Watford, $8) – I really debated putting Foster here because of how poorly Watford have played in the first two games.

However, Foster is priced as the worst GK on this slate, but I don’t think he will be the lowest scoring.  Not much has changed on the Watford roster since last season, so their early struggles are a bit puzzling.

They gave up less than 1.5 goals per game at home last year, and WHU struggled to score on the road last season (1.05 per game).  This year’s West Ham does not have Marko Arnautovic and Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson are questionable for this game.  Watford is back playing at home this week, so I think you could get a Foster at a really nice price with very low ownership.
