Top MLB DFS Hitters

Christian Yelich – Your inevitable back to back MVP winner is back in action against Merrill Kelly. With a .393 ISO, 40% FB rate, and 53% HC against RHP. This is my favorite outfield option and is the most obvious play.

Tommy Pham – “Tommy Boy” is surprisingly my second favorite outfielder. He has been rot hot behind the plate since the All Star Break, and has some good data against LHP historically. With a 45% HC rate, and an ISO that is rising each game, I can’t help but like him as a great GPP play.

Nelson Cruz – Either Cruz is on the special sauce, or he is truly the ageless wonder. He has an insane .518 ISO against LHP, 50% FB rate, and 65% HC. These numbers are truly unreal, and as much as I like Matt Boyd, he gives up a lot of home runs to RHH. Cruz is a fantastic play in all formats.

AJ Pollock – Pollock is a cheap lead-off hitter, in a complete smash spot for a team that might put up five runs in the first two innings. Pollock has 46% HC, a low K rate, and an okay ISO. Add him to the list of Dodger players that I have mentioned so far, and you will have yourself a great stack.

Chris Taylor – Okay guys I swear last Dodger I will mention. I normally hate Taylor, but we have to respect the cheap price, and his numbers against LHP have been historically great. With a .274 ISO, and 44% HC, he is another candidate to take Paxton deep. I also expect this play to be pretty chalky.
