3. Mia Yim’s feud with Shayna Baszler seems to be far from over

In the only women’s segment on the show this week, Mia Yim returned to Full Sail Live this week without the NXT Women’s Championship. She looked to take out her frustrations on one Vanessa Borne in the process.

The match was fine for what it was, although shorter than we would have liked. But this edition of NXT was packed with a lot of matches and in the current one-hour time frame it was either shorter matches or fewer matches, and it’s always hard to find the happy medium there.

Even with Aliyah at ringside the numbers game didn’t work out for the Vision as Yim picked up the victory with Protect Ya Neck. Just when we thought this segment was over however, Shayna Baszler makes her way to the ring.

The Queen of Spades puts Yim over for their match at TakeOver and actually tries to recruit her to join her stable. Soon Yim finds herself surrounded, and instead of joining tries to fight her way out. This numbers game, however, did work against Yim and they left her laying. Clearly, this feud between these two women is far from over. It will be interesting to see what type of gimmick match these two get when they meet in the ring again in the near future.
