FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: Top GPP Stacks

Cleveland Indians (6.0 IRT) vs. Glenn Sparkman

The Tribe scored only 4 runs last night against Jake Junis and this poor Royals pen, but I like them to have a big night tonight against Sparkman. They scored 8 runs on 9 hits against Sparky the last time they saw him and have a bevy of lefties and switch hitters in this lineup that should give him fits. The Indians lefties are dangerous at home as their park really favors left-handed power. I really like Lindor, Santana, Ramirez, Kipnis, and Naquin as potential stack options here.

Chicago White Sox (5.0 IRT) vs. Kolby Allard

Don’t look now but the White Sox are on fire. DFS players keep trying to target them with pitchers (I fell for it last night with Lynn) but this team continues to hit. I have been using them as a low-owned stack for a few weeks now and they have been coming through pretty often.

The addition of Yoan Moncada to this lineup is huge and gives them another power bat right in the middle of the order. Abreu has been hot and McCann has been hitting lefties all season long. Garcia, Moncada, Abreu, McCann, and Jiminez (if he plays) all have some nice upside tonight against the left-handed rookie Allard who has struggled so far in his limited major league experience.

Minnesota Twins (6.9 IRT)  vs. Edwin Jackson

The Tigers finally announced that Jackson will pitch Saturday as Matt Boyd‘s next start has now been pushed to Sunday. Jackson has been better in Detroit than he was in Toronto, but still has some of the worst metrics of any starting pitcher in baseball. He gives up a lot of hard contact and has high fly ball rates, which means home runs for opposing hitters. The Twins are one of the worst possible matchups for Jackson as they have some of the best ISO rates in baseball. With Jackson having some reverse splits, I’ll be targeting Sano, Cruz, Garver, and Cron first in my Twins stacks.
