FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: 8/24 – Indian Summer

FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: Sample Lineup and Overview
Here’s where I am going to break down my thought process on this slate for you. In cash games, I think you suck it up and pay all the way up to Clevinger. In GPPs, I am all about paying down into the 7-8k range to try to get some salary cap savings for some of these pricier stacks.
My cash game lineup features my 3 core plays along with some guys like Adames and Osuna who are cheap with really good platoon splits against lefties. Santana and Garcia both hit at the top of their teams’ lineups in what should be pretty high scoring game and Naquin is just way too cheap for a hitter of his caliber, even if he does hit 9th in the order.
Cash Game Lineup

C/1B: Jesus Aguilar
2B: Ryan McMahon
3B: Jose Osuna
SS: Willy Adames
OF: Nelson Cruz
OF: Tyler Naquin
OF: Leury Garcia
UTIL: Danny Santana
My main slate GPP build is a 4-3-1 build with Max Fried as my pitcher. I am going to roll with a wrap-around Indians 4-man stack and three Twins righties with home run upside. Jake Marisnick fills out the last spot as a cheap outfielder who hits lefties well in a good matchup.
