FanDuel MLB DFS Breakdown: Value Bats

Value Bats are going to be defined as hitters who are 3000 or less on FanDuel. Here are my top picks for less than 3k today!

Matt Adams (2900) – First Base

Adams is always a home run threat and has a nice matchup against Wojo and the Baltimore bullpen. He should hit fifth behind one of my favorite hitters Soto.

Jackie Bradley Jr. (3000) – Outfield

JBJ went yard at Coors last night and still didn’t get a price hike. He’s now got three homers over his last five games. He’s one of the better 8-hitters in baseball and is always a threat to go deep and possibly swipe a bag.

Jonathan Schoop (2900) – Second Base

Schoop is heating up, hitting three bombs in his last four games. He hits near the bottom of the order, but like Bradley, he provides nice cheap exposure to an offense with a high Vegas total.

Matthew Joyce (2200) – Outfield

If you really need a cheap punt play in the outfield, then Joyce is my favorite option. He’s been hitting fifth in the Braves lineup against righties and is a solid contact hitter who can definitely still hit a bomb once in a while. All you really need is an RBI single or a walk and a run scored at this price and you’ll be happy.

Matt Thaiss (2400) – Third Base

Thaiss is still under the Mendoza line, hitting .196 but has shown some nice pop in his bat with 6 homers in a fairly small number of plate appearances for the Angels. He provides some cheap exposure to this Angels offense.
