Fantasy Football Winners:

Aaron Rodgers

Is Rodgers ever a loser? With a guy this talented, the offensive coordinator shouldn’t matter too much. I do believe that Mike McCarthy held Rodgers back his entire career with his very basic offense that lacked motion, play-action, expanded route trees and pure lack of innovation. I am expecting a bounce-back for Rodgers this season as he should once again finish inside the top-5 at his position.

Aaron Jones

He simply is in better shape and is by far the better back in this offense. While I do not trust LaFleur to utilize him correctly, I do think that he will see the majority of the work. When I am targeting running backs, I am looking for those that will see a ton of volume and play in great offenses, Aaron Jones checks both of those boxes.

Devante Adams

The only true winner in this offense is Devante Adams. One of the highest targeted receivers in the NFL, Adams sets his sights as the number one receiver in fantasy football. One thing you can count on for Adams is his touchdown production as he was targeted a league-high 31 times in the red-zone last season. If one of the younger receivers can step up and take some defensive eyes off of Adams, he is in for an even bigger year than last season.

Fantasy Football Losers:

The question is can we trust Matt LaFleur to use players properly or will it be another catastrophic use of talent as he did with the Titans a year ago.

It is hard to ever bet against the most talented quarterback to ever play in the NFL, but with how bad he ran the Titans last season one has to be cautious. There is a saying that the truth always lies somewhere in the middle, and I am going to assume that to be the case with Matt LaFleur as a play-caller. A lot of blame goes on LaFleur for an offense that finished 25th in total offense, 29th in passing and 28th in passing touchdowns but Marcus Mariotta also shares a large portion of that blame.
