2020 NFL Mock Draft: Tua Tagovailoa heads to South Beach

Oregon. Calvin Throckmorton. 23. player. 53. . Offensive Tackle

The 2019 Cleveland Browns are going to be a team that everybody has their eyes on, especially after 2018 No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield looked so good as a rookie last season. This offseason, the Browns went out and got him an elite weapon in Odell Beckham Jr., who is reunited with his former college teammate, and best friend Jarvis Landry.

Overall, this is the best Browns team we have seen on paper in a very long time, but it will be up to first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens to get the franchise moving in the right direction. If he can press all the right buttons, this is a team that is good enough to win the AFC North, and make a run in the playoffs.

Looking ahead, Cleveland needs to do something to bolster the offensive line, and bringing in a guy like Calvin Throckmorton to be the right tackle as a rookie is a smart move. Throckmorton is going to be the man protecting Justin Herbert’s blindside in 2019, and if he performs well, he could make a case for himself as a first round pick next April.

24. player. 49. . Wide Receiver. Clemson. Tee Higgins

It should be an interesting year in Green Bay, as first-year head coach Matt LaFleur will look to develop a solid working relationship with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. There has already been some bumps in the road this summer, but if these two can get on the same page, there is no reason why the Packers cannot go out and win the NFC North.

Looking at this roster, the Packers need to do something to improve the wide receiver group next April, and there are a number of first round talents in this draft class. Of course, Davante Adams is a special talent, and should have a monster 2019 campaign, but the talent behind him just is not up to par at this point.

One wideout who should hear his name called early in the 2020 NFL Draft is Tee Higgins, a good-looking speedster out of Clemson. Higgins should once again be a main target for Trevor Lawrence in the Tigers passing game this upcoming college football season, and Rodgers will absolutely love throwing to him at the next level.
