Chelsea face Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Aug. 31. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Chelsea picked up their first win under new manager Frank Lampard last weekend. On Saturday, the Blues look to make it two wins in a row as they host Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge. Sheffield have four points through their first three games since being promoted in the Premier League.

Chelsea defeated Norwich 3-2 last weekend. Tammy Abraham scored twice, including the winning goal. Abraham has benefited from the hiring of Lampard and Chelsea being under a transfer ban, getting a consistent chance to start. Perhaps the biggest benefactor from Lampard’s hiring is Mason Mount.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Derby under Lampard’s management. Through three games, Mount has scored twice and looks like a future star for England. While they have some exciting young players, they have struggled to defend. The Blues have allowed seven goals and have to defend better if they are going to finish in the top four.

Sheffield lost 2-1 to Leicester last season. Despite losing their last game, getting four points in their first three games is a successful start to the season for the Blades. Sheffield earned promotion last season after Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick combined for 38 goals. The duo has combined for one goal this season but will likely start next to each other against Chelsea. However, scoring goals will not be the biggest challenge for Sheffield as the Blades will struggle to defend the Blues’ attack.

Chelsea and Sheffield have not played against each other since the 2005-06 season when Chelsea won both games. The last time the Blades defeated Chelsea was Nov. 27, 1993.
