Fantasy Football: High stakes FFPC draft pick 5

For reference, here is the DRAFT BOARD

I won’t finish up with a full round by round here but let me tell you…it was exhilarating trying to figure out what quarterback to take and when. We ended up being the last team to pick a quarterback which normally doesn’t bother me at all. I’d probably say I prefer that actually.

The reason this was more nerve wracking than usual was due to half of the teams having already taken a backup quarterback too! Not ideal. I’m not upset at all about Dak though. He’s going to have a great season and brings nice upside.

We snagged a few defenses to have options and focused primarily on the first week or first few weeks to determine what defenses to target.

Streaming defenses is generally a solid strategy since it is often so matchup dependent. Mr. Irrelevant for us was Devin Funchess. Looking back on this draft has me feeling much better actually but still not as successful as our first draft.

We have one more fantasy football draft to do on Labor Day and we’ll be picking from the 3rd spot. I kind of want to take Zeke there and finally get some exposure to a guy who could easily beat out McCaffrey and Saquon to be THE running back.

I don’t hate the idea of having Alvin Kamara though either. Stay tuned for the final big money draft. Until next time fantasy football addicts…thanks for reading.
