Fantasy Football Winners

Dalvin Cook– The third year pro out of Florida State has breakout written all over him, if he can stay healthy. It is clear that head coach Mike Zimmer wants to run the football early and often with Cook and Mattison seeing the majority of that work. I would expect Zimmer to bully his philosophy onto first year coordinator Kevin Stefanski and for Cook to finally live up to his hype.

Stefon Diggs I am not sure where this ranks but I would probably guess that 32.4% of the target share for a wide receiver is up there. That is how often Diggs was targeted during the three games with Kevin Stefanski as his offensive coordinator.

It is hard to not get excited about Diggs this season after catching 102 passes for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns last season. Could this season be even bigger with him finally getting the number one target share as Thielen falls to number two?

Kyle Rudolph In his three games with his new offensive coordinator, Rudolph had the second most targets behind Stefon Diggs. Not only does his coordinator like him but his quarterback also prefers to throw it to the tight end as well.

I am looking for a very solid year out of Rudolph who has been forgotten about in the fantasy football world with a current ADP of #149. I have no issues with taking Rudolph in the late rounds of drafts if you miss out on one of the top six tight ends.

Fantasy Football Losers

Adam Thielen Not only did his offensive coordinator forget who he was as he finished behind Kyle Rudolph in targets during the final three games of the season, but now Chad Bebe looks to be taking over as the primary slot receiver in order to get the best three receivers on the field.

Regardless, the regression monster has to be coming as passing plays come down so will Thielen’s massive target share (153 last season).
