FanDuel NFL GPP breakdown: Week 1 main slate
Top FanDuel NFL GPP plays
New York Jets – With the Ravens coming in as the very chalky option, and for good reason, I will have a lot of interest in pivoting to the Jets. They are projected at 5% ownership and will match up with the Bills. Buffalo is an offense full of young players, that have yet to prove themselves. Josh Allen was turning the ball over very often last year, throwing 12 interceptions, and only ten touchdowns. If Trumaine Johnson plays, he will likely shadow the only real threat that Buffalo has in John Brown. It is also worth mentioning that New York made some great upgrades during the off-season. Signing C.J Mosley, and drafting Quinnen Willaims with the third pick. I expect plenty of sacks, at least two turnovers, and the Bills to score no more than 13 points on this Jets defense
Seattle Seahawks – The Seahawks will play the Bengals, who are without top receiver, A.j Green. This is going to limit how much scoring upside the Bengals will have on a weekly basis. Andy Dalton is not a good quarterback, and Cincy struggled to score outside of Joe Mixon. This offensive line is also a big question, and they will have their hands full with the dynamic duo in Jadeveon Clowney, and Ezekiel Ansah. This could be a big day for Seattle, and I project them to rack up the sacks, force a fumble, and limit the points.
Dallas Cowboys – Dallas will be the last defense mentioned, and they draw an amazing spot against division rivals, New York Giants. They were a top-five ranked rushing defense last season, and that is literally that only weapon that can do damage against them. Eli Manning should not be a starting quarterback and regresses more each year. Evan Engram could be a problem, but yet again Eli would have to actually get the ball to him for Evan to make any sort of impact. I would expect New York to struggle most of the year, and if Dallas can contain Saquon, they should do very well.
