FanDuel NFL GPP breakdown: Week 1 main slate
Top FanDuel NFL GPP plays
LA Rams – I looked very hard at which teams were coming in at lower ownership as a whole for this section, and across the board, the Rams were very low owned. People are treating Carolina as a better defense than what they really are. This secondary struggled in a big way last year, and we can exploit them in a game that has a solid total.
Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks
Seattle Seahawks – I already talked about two Seahawks in this article, with the third player in this stack being a much more popular option. If we can make most of the stack contrarian, it won’t hurt to throw in a more popular play that still has plenty of upside. I am not sure how the ownership will play out for this offense, but if it sticks to the current projection, I will have a lot of interest.
Russell Wilson, Chris Carson, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf
San Francisco – I will be taking a deep look at this Niner offense in the second-highest projected scoring game. This is the perfect time to talk about game stacking. While I think that many people will just stack the Tampa Bay offense, a lot of those people will forget about the ability to game stack. If you are playing GPP.s, you need to be doing this. The concept of game stacking would be focusing on a set of players for your main stack and pairing them with one or two players from the opposite team they are playing. In games where both defenses are bad, and the game is high scoring, we can take full advantage of this.
Main Stack – Jimmy Garoppolo Matt Breida George Kittle
Game Stack – Main stack from above, combined with Mike Evans
Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jags are not a team that I will normally ever stack. The reality is that they will be behind in this entire game with Kansas City. The ownership is low enough on them for me to play a three man stack in one of my tourney lineups. If the game script works out how I am thinking, they will be forced to try and keep up with that high scoring Chief offense.
Nick Foles, Leonard Fournette , Dede Westbrook
