NFL DraftKings Week 1 DFS lineup advice

NFL DraftKings: Wide Receivers
Odell Beckham Jr. $8,100 Titans @ Browns
With how ugly things got in New York, I almost wonder if there are some people who have forgotten just how good OBJ is at football. The fact that Tennessee struggled to contain the wide receiver position last year is practically irrelevant because, at his peak, Beckham is legitimately one of the most matchup-proof players in the entire league.
Chris Godwin $6,200 49ers @ Buccaneers
Not much needs to be said about this play. Bruce Arians has stated that Godwin is never going to come off the field, and all indications throughout preseason were that Arians was telling the truth. I guess if you need any further convincing, there’s this Tweet from Graham Barfield.
D.J. Moore $5,500 Rams @ Panthers
Curtis Samuel, Curtis Samuel, Curtis Samuel. If you were paying attention to the Carolina Panthers during training camp, that name is seemingly all that was being said. DFS players are going to smash Samuel and his cheap $4,200 salary into their lineups, and D.J. Moore will be the forgotten man. That isn’t to say I don’t also love Samuel, I just think Moore shapes up as a better GPP play while Samuel is more of a cash game consideration.
Larry Fitzgerald $4,900 Lions @ Cardinals
Talks of Fitz’s demise are incredibly overstated. Even while playing with the likes of Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon, and Josh Rosen, Fitzgerald was able to score double-digit points in 9 out of his last 10 games in 2018. While it remains to be seen how effective Kliff Kingsbury‘s offense will be at the professional level, it’s hard to imagine that it could be any worse than what Arizona rolled out last year. For a $200 discount, Christian Kirk is an interesting option as well.
