Draftkings NFL GPP pivots: Quarterback

My second favorite guy this week is Nick Foles. I was surprised to see his projected ownership much lower than I expected and I guess there are fewer people in the industry that are as high on him this week as me. The Kansas City defense was leaky last year and they won a lot of games with their offense. A lot of those games last year turned into shootouts and with Foles at the helm for the Jags this year, I think their offense should be much improved, giving them a chance to keep up with Kansas City this week.

The Jags are four-point home underdogs, so if we think they are going to be playing from behind then the game script could really be in Foles favor here. His best receiver, Dede Westbrook, is looking like a chalky cash play, but how many players are going to stack Foles with him?

My third pivot is a guy that I have a bit of a man-crush on and that’s Josh Allen. The dude is ridiculously athletic and showed some monster rushing upside last year with four games of 90 yards rushing or more and 8 rushing touchdowns. Allen struggled with a low completion percentage and 12 picks, but he had some GPP-winning performances including a 41 DK point performance against the Dolphins in the last game of the year. The Jets defense ranked 21st overall in DVOA and 18th against the pass, so it’s a positive matchup for Allen and what should be an improved Bills offense.
