Top MLB DFS Hitters

Matt Chapman – Chapman will make the third player I have mentioned from an Oakland stack. He has been crushing righties, and lefties, it really does not matter, all the way back to his breakout season last year. With a .249 ISO, 42% FB rate, and 43% HC rate, Matt will be ready to feast on this Detroit team. Zimmerman is just very slightly better against RHH, but as mentioned several times, this is one of the worst bullpens in the league. I will be attacking them with as many bats as I can fit.

Justin Turner – With Tyler Beede on the mound for San Francisco, this makes pretty much any Dodger bat a good play. Beede, has a .194 ISO, 35% FB rate, and 47% HC rate against RHH. This bodes well for the LA slugger as he is coming up on a 30 home run season. Turner has a .189 ISO, 37% FB rate, and 47% HC rate against RHH. This is a sneaky good play, and a likely candidate for a home run.

Josh Donaldson – This is one of my least favorite guys to play at third base, but against Austin Voth we need to consider him. Voth has had reverse splits all year, with a .239 ISO, and 47% FB rate against RHH. He does have a whopping 32% K rate against those righties as well, which makes me a little hesitant. Donaldson has been hitting RHP well, with a .277 ISO, 34% FB rate, and 48.7% HC rate. The recent form is also very good, along with the price tag. This could end up being a very popular play at the position, and for good reason.

Todd Fraizer – I wanted to include another Met bat, and Todd seemed like a decent value option. With a .240 ISO, 49% FB rate, and 30% HC rate, he could be in for a decent night against the underwhelming Smyly. Not to mention, he is very cheap, and outside of Alonso, this entire Mets stack is cheap. If paying up for JV, this is the route you should take.
