Top MLB DFS Hitters

Shoehei Ohtani – This is the perfect spot to buy low on a player that has some immense upside. Due to a recent slump, Ohtani is priced at 2.9k on FanDuel, against he likes of Dylan Covey. We have yet to touch on any Angel bats because they do not have many lefties, and that is where Covey struggles bad. With a .228 ISO, 37% FB and HC rates. Ohtani has always hit RHP well, with a .219 ISO, and 49% HC rate. This is a great one-off cheap option for cash games.

More from DFS

Cody Bellinger – Cody continues his MVP season while smashing everything that comes his way. He has a .346 ISO, 42% FB rate, and 51% HC rate against RHP. I do not have to tell how you bad Beede is, all I will say is that Bellinger is my favorite pay up a player at the outfield position.

Nick Castellanos – The Cubs got a steal when they stole the best player on Detroit’s team just before the trade deadline. Nick has been on a tear since joining his new team. Now he gets the old bones of Gio Gonzalez to beat up on. With a .347 ISO, 35% FB rate, and 46% HC rate against LHP. Gio has been pretty bag against RHP, and Nick should feast today.

Mark Canha – Mark has been as steady as they come for the A’s. With solid numbers against both RHP, and LHP he is a great mid-tier play. Canha has a .275 ISO, 41% FB rate, and 37% HC rate against RHP. Great numbers, good form, batting in the heart of the Oakland lineup, you can’t ask for much more.

Shin-soo Choo – This could very well be the first time I have written up Choo all season long. A couple of things I like about him are his massive 50% HC rate against RHP, and his .210 ISO. One thing I do not like is his inability to hit LHP, so he will sometime get pinched out of a game early. Either way I think he has a good shot to hit one deep on Brooks.

Kole Calhoun – Hitting lefties is no problem for Calhoun, as he is priced at 3k even on FanDuel. He will begin the game against a righty though, where he has a .241 ISO, 36% FB rate, and 47% HC rate. I also really like that the Angles have been hitting him clean up a lot more recently, and as he approaches 30 home runs, he should continue his bounce-back season.
