NFL DFS Week 1: Cash game breakdown

Chris Godwin – FD $6900 DK $6100

If you recall when discussing Jameis Winston at quarterback in our cash game lineups, I mentioned a big reason I liked him is due to another cash game play. This would be it. I like having some sort of stack whether it’s 3 guys or even just a mini stack of 2 players on the same team. Godwin is going to be pretty highly owned and if he does well that means Jameis would have to do well too right? I think this game, in general, is going to be a goldmine to target.

Tyler Lockett – FD $6800 DK $6000

I’m hearing a lot of discussion about Lockett and I’m not sure if I’m into it to be quite honest. Yes I do expect him to have a great year and as I said earlier, the Bengals are pretty terrible on defense. Lockett has a great matchup this week against a slow corner too but I just don’t see how the Seahawks will have to pass the ball all that much. However, sometimes you just have to eat the highly owned chalk and this may be one of those times.

DJ Moore – FD $6200 DK $5500

I like Cam more than most people as a football player in general and as a fantasy play just about every week. Yes the Rams defense is solid but I think this game could end up being a sneaky high total. Moore is an incredibly talented receiver and I think he’ll put up some nice stats. Some people seem to be on Curtis Samuel as a chalk cheap guy so keep that in mind if you need to save a few hundred in salary. Either way, I want a piece of this game and I don’t mind going here.
