DraftKings PGA – Greenbrier Classic – Golfers to Target

$11,100 Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson is a stud and he was trending in the right direction at the end of last season. He is a true grinder and I expect him to be prepared for the first event of the season. Bryson also plays easy golf courses with no wind exceptionally well. Bryson struggled somewhat last year after a banner year in 2018.  However, I really liked what I saw at the end of the season. He ranks 13th in my model and has solid results at The Old White TPC, with a T14 finish in 2017.

$9,700 Joaquin Niemann

Niemann will be popular this week. He finished the 2019 season playing some extremely consistent golf. The young Chilean made 10 of his last 11 cuts, with no finishes worse than T31. His ball-striking is immaculate, he bombs the ball off-the-tee, and Bentgrass is the only putting surface he doesn’t lose strokes on. This is an ideal course for Niemann, and the price is worth it. I cannot fade him this week.

$9,500 Byeong Hun An

I love me some Bennie An. He is top 10 in the field TTG, APP, OTT, and Scoring. If he can strike his putter as well as he strikes the other clubs in his bag, then he will have a chance to grab his first PGA Tour victory. An got the taste of winning in his mouth at the Wyndham Championship, at the end of last season, eventually falling short of JT Poston.
