PGA value plays and sleepers: The 2019 Greenbrier
Henrick Norlander
The Native of Sweden was last seen on Tour at the RSM Classic in 2018 where he has found exempt status as being the 2016 Champion. His last 10 appearances on tour he gained 3.4 SG total with and a decent 1.3 Strokes Gained tee to green. His best 2019 results on the KFT were a win at the Wichita Open, and two top 5 finishes. He realized his dream earning his tour card at the KFT Finals and moving on with the graduating class of 2019. Norlander was in the hunt for a win at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship but alas found himself at an impressive T7 at -12 at Victoria National Golf Club. He is averaging 71.7% of Fairways hit matched with 74.72% of Green in Regulation. He is not the cheapest on Fanduel at $8,500 they seem to be high on him- but at 7,100 on DK, he makes a good choice.
Robby Shelton
Roll Tide! This former Alabama alumnus will be taking the tour by storm pretty soon. Robby is extremely moderately priced on both Sites at $7,100 $6,400. Robby quietly took home two wins at the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 with 5 top 5 finishes. He last competed on the PGA Tour in 2017 where he gained 1.8 Strokes Total in 5 events. He is averaging 300.7 yards off the tee with 65.87% of Fairways hit, and 71.72% of GIR’s hit. Robby is known to be a quiet and docile character, so if you’re looking for a perfect potential sleeper, he’s your man. Many are speaking highly of KFT fellow Graduate Scottie Sheffler, and rightfully so, but Robby has matched him in many stats this year and will fly under the radar.
Josh Teater
Mr. Teater quietly finished his 2018/19 season with a slick T6 finish at the Wyndham Championship. Finding a groove at the right time Josh gained +2.2 Strokes total, +1.9 T2G, and +1.6 Strokes Approach during a stretch of 6 weeks. The veteran had one of his best finishing stretches on tour after 10 Seasons earning just north of $660,000 on the year. Josh also found himself in the fold at the KFT Championship disappointingly squeezing in at a T74 finish, I will take him at a price cut on DK at $6,400 and a $7,300 on FD.
