Edge. New York Giants. Chase Young. 3. player. 31.

The New York Giants went to Dallas this past weekend, for a huge, early-season NFC East matchup against the hated Cowboys. While the team looked good during the first drive, and had some nice numbers when it came to the offensive side of the ball, the defense was absolutely terrible throughout.

Dak Prescott was able to do whatever he wanted in the pocket, as the Giants could get no pass rush, and that is an area they should target at the top of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. It is no big secret that this is going to be a tough season for the G-Men, as they look to transition from Eli Manning to Daniel Jones for the foreseeable future.

On that defensive side of the ball, the Giants need to do better at getting a pass rush, and Chase Young from Ohio State is the best player in this draft class at doing just that. He is a monster from his edge rushing position for the Buckeyes, and for the Giants, he would slide right in as a starter, and produce big numbers in Year No. 1.

4. player. 58. . Wide Receiver. Washington Commanders. Jerry Jeudy

The Washington Redskins looked to be on pace to pull off a major upset on Sunday, as they went on the road and nearly beat the rival Philadelphia Eagles. While the Eagles did come back and win the game, it was a good showing for the Redskins, who do not figure to do much in an NFC East that should be dominated by the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

When it comes time for them to draft in the first round in 2020, they will likely be picking early, and they should focus their efforts on bringing in a player like Jerry Jeudy from Alabama. Jeudy is the No.1  wide receiver in this draft class, and would bring a dimension to this Redskins offense that we have not seen in a long time.

This is a team that just released 2016 first rounder Josh Doctson, so it is pretty clear that they need to bring in some reinforcements in the passing game. Eventually, the franchise is going to hand over the keys to Dwayne Haskins, and when they do, he will have a legitimate No. 1 wideout in Jeudy.
