1. Kansas

  • Venue: Allen Fieldhouse

  • Home Record Since 2000: 276-15 (.949 Winning Percentage)

Ladies and gentlemen, we have finally arrived at the nation’s most dominant home-court advantage in college basketball. That advantage rests in Lawrence, Kansas, where the Jayhawks have absolutely lorded over the competition at Allen Fieldhouse.

Allen Fieldhouse was opened in 1955 and named after great Kansas coach Phog Allen, and Kansas has done nothing but win there ever since. There have been plenty of NCAA Tournament games at the Phog, which is one of the most historically significant arenas in America.

Kansas fans have plenty of game day traditions that add to the mystique of Allen Fieldhouse, and it can also get quite loud at the Phog. Jayhawks’ fans shattered the Guinness World Record for loudest roar back in 2017, recording a 130.7-decibel roar in a win over West Virginia.

Since Allen Fieldhouse opened back in 1955, Kansas has lost just over 100 games in the history of the building, an almost unheard of run of home dominance. The Jayhawks have really upped that dominance since the turn of the century, losing only 15 home games since 2000, a truly insane level of consistency at the Phog.

Kansas fans are used to winning and intimidating visiting teams, and they have had plenty of opportunities to start the Rock Chalk chant that is a tradition when the Jayhawks are about to close out a win.
