4. Eagles-Falcons over 51

Betting the over is always a lot of fun, and this game certainly has shootout potential. Even though both the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons have plenty of talent on the defensive side of the football, neither unit fared very well in Week 1.

The Falcons have traditionally struggled against the run, and the Minnesota Vikings took full advantage of them in Week 1, with Dalvin Cook racking up 111 yards and two scores. The Eagles had their own defensive issues, letting Case Keenum and Washington’s low-wattage passing attack slice and dice them for 380 yards and three touchdowns.

Both of these teams also have a ton of offensive firepower, with Matt Ryan and company looking to rebound in their home opener. The Falcons will surely look to get Julio Jones more involved in the passing attack after he caught just six passes for 31 yards against Minnesota (although he did find the end zone to help out fantasy owners).

The Eagles have a talented core of runners to take advantage of Atlanta’s poor rush defense, and Carson Wentz has his own talented group of pass catchers. Expect a good old fashioned shootout in Atlanta, so these two could fly by the over of 51.
